Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Brownish discoloration associated with partial nail dystrophy and mild chronic paronychia of all fingernails and some toenails of more than one year duration in a middle-aged housewife woman. She hadn't respond to three months therapy with itraconazole (pulse therapy) so shifted to oral terbinafine (Lamisil) 250 mg daily.
