Differential DiagnosisHistory:
This girl presented with only two asymptomatic oval erythematous patches with collorate scales at the borders of the lesions. The patches were confined to the upper medial part of one thigh of more than two months duration. KOH examination of marginal scales was negative for fungi. It seems that this case was an atypical presentation of pityriasis rosea (limited distribution and relatively long duration).
