Axillary granular parakeratosis is an unusual axillary rash that is characterized by these pseudo vesicles.The cause is not known but in some cases there has been excessive use of antiperspirants associated with obesity and occlusion.The condition has also been described under the breasts and in the groin.
The term granular parakeratosis refers to the retention of the keratohyaline granules in the stratum corneum during cornification and is a characteristic histological finding.
