Differential DiagnosisHistory: Acne vulgaris in its very early manifestation as comedones is seen in this 14-year-old girl. This non-inflammatory version of the disorder responds very slowly to treatment and may require topical retinoids like adapalene for long periods, not withstanding its irritant effect. Benzyl peroxide is yet another choice with its additional anti-bacterial cover.
