Differential DiagnosisHistory: One year history of an asymptomatic, erythematous, scaly plaque with surface telangectasia confined to one side of the nose. The scales were adherent and on removal showed carpet tack sign. Topical corticosteroids gave the patient periods of rash quiescence but relapse on withdrawal.
