Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Extramammary Paget's disease is a rare condition that characteristically occurs in the groin or perianal skin.It may be associated with an underlying bowel ,prostate or urinary tract tumour spreading out onto the skin surface. Many cases however arise from an apocrine glandular cell in the skin itself without any underlying carcinoma in internal organs.
It is easy to mistake this for a fungal infection or inverse psoriasis.A biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
