Differential DiagnosisHistory: A young adult person presented with a diffuse, indurated, crusted erythematous swelling of the upper lip of 4 months duration with purulent discharge. Biopsy showed many intracellular Leishman-Donovan bodies within the dermis. He responded well to systemic sodium stibogluconate antimonate plus systemic antibiotic for the associated secondary bacterial infection.
