Differential DiagnosisHistory: A middle-aged woman presented for the first time with painful and tender multiple bilateral symmetrical red nodules involving the legs, thighs and forearms. The condition started two weeks prior to presentation and was associated with bilateral knee joint pain (arthralgia). One nodule was taken as biopsy and showed inflammatory changes consistent with erythema nodosum. No underlying cause was found to be associated with this case.
