Differential DiagnosisHistory: A middle-aged woman suffered a chronic papulo-pustular rash involving mainly the butterfly area of the face of more than three years duration. The rash characterized by remissions and relapses which were more severe during summer time. The condition was partially alleviated by frequent courses of oral doxycyclin and topical 1% metronidazole gel.
