Differential DiagnosisHistory: A toddler presented with two weepy, exudative and crusted irregular patches affecting the nose and ear (periorificial distribution) of 6 days duration. The lesion on the nose had an ecthymatous appearance with well defined border. Both lesions have been cured with a 10-day course of an oral cloxacillin suspension and a local antiseptic.
