Differential DiagnosisHistory: This man suffered generalized bullous rash composed of flaccid bullae and raw painful erosions of three years duration with remissions and relapses. The patient has been treated with oral prednisolone and an immunosuppressive agent but most relapses were due to sudden stoppage of treatment or abrupt reduction of the dosage by the patient due to non compliance. The oral mucosa was severely involved during the whole course of the disease with painful erosions, maceration and secondary candidiasis (see mouth picture).
