History: Six months history of red scaly plaques affected the central parts of the face, predominantly the nose. The plaques were covered with white adherent scales that on removal showed carpet tack sign on their under-surface. These plaques were well controlled on moderately potent topical corticosteroid with avoidance of sun exposure.
