Differential DiagnosisHistory: This lady shows the typical early violaceous lesions of morphoea. The central areas may be firm due to the laying down of excess collagen under the skin.Eventually the violaceous colour disappears and an ivory white firm plaque is left.Over a period of years this will slowly soften and may leave a brown stain in the skin.
