History:

Porokeratosis has five clinical presenting types, these are:

1. Plaque-type porokeratosis (Porokeratosis of Mibelli), which is the commonest type.

2. DASP (Disseminated Superficial Actinic Porokeratosis).

3. Linear porokeratosis, which has the highest risk of developing cutaneous malignancies.

4. Disseminated Palmoplantar Porokeratosis.

5. Porokeratosis Punctata Palmaris et Plantaris.

The present case is a young adult in his twenties has developed multiple asymptomatic circinate plaques on both sides of the nose of 4 months duration. The patient is bothered by the cosmetic appearance of the lesions. On examination, the lesions were well demarcated, circular plaques, less than 1cm diameter surrounded by slightly elevated borders (keratotic collars) and atrophic centers i.e. they have festooned appearance.
