Diagnosis: Seborrhoeic keratosis
Description: Multiple thick, greasy verrucous plaques
Morphology: Plaque
Site: Forehead
Sex: M
Age: 66
Type: Clinical
Submitted By: Ted Rosen
Differential DiagnosisHistory: One year history of slowly growing, asymptomatic lesion on the forehead, with several additional ones at hairline. Typical seborrheic keratosis, although similarity to sebaceous nevus in large lesion was sufficient to warrant a small punch biopsy. The latter verified SK as correct diagnosis. Patient did not desire removal, just reassurance that the lesion was benign.
