Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Multiple, asymptomatic, grouped, skin-coloured, umbilicated papules on the chin of this 7-year-old boy appeared 4 months ago. Family history of similar lesions was positive in one of his brothers. Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin infection caused by a DNA virus. It commonly occurs in children in whom the face is the commonest bosy site affected and usually spreads through autoinoculation.
