Morphology: Plaque
Site: Trunk
Sex: F
Age: 70
Type: Clinical
Submitted By: Ted Rosen
Differential DiagnosisHistory: Indolent development of thickened skin which became "slack" in nature on back and abdomen. Notice admixed erythematous papules. Biopsy showed granulomatous inflammation with atypical lymphocyes and marked elastolysis (uncommon in skin of color, especially on covered areas). This is typical for the granulomaous slack skin variety of CTCL. Patient refused all therapeutic interventions except for antihistamines for itching, and was lost to follow-up.
