Tinea manuum and onychomycosis
A 36-year-old housewife presented with a red scaly plaque with an active border and clear center on the dorsum of one hand. Thumb nail has been affected with thinning and crumbling of the nail plate.The lesion has evolved slowly over 3-4 months with peripheral extension and central clearing. Scales from the border of the plaque mounted on a KOH smear was positive for fungi.
